When testing the steel pipe with a hydraulic press, it is required to seal both ends and fill the steel pipe with low-pressure water through a water filling valve before conducting a high-pressure test. During this process, due to the presence of air inside the pipe, an exhaust channel is required to exhaust the air inside the pipe. As the specific gravity of the air is smaller than that of water, the air accumulates inside the steel pipe. At this point, an exhaust device is needed to guide the air out.

For cases where the diameter of the test tube is relatively small (below 300mm), the design of the exhaust device is complex and requires comprehensive consideration of the following aspects:

1. During the pressure test, the water pressure is relatively high at 7-10Mpa, and the water quality is complex and dirty. The sealing requirements for the valve are high, and the valve cannot be guaranteed for normal use.

2. In the pressure test operation, the general valve opening and closing speed cannot adapt to the rhythm needs (electric valves have a slow opening speed);

3. If pneumatic valves are selected, the opening and closing action of high-pressure pneumatic valves generally requires a certain initial pressure as the starting pressure, and there is generally no pressure that can be used as the starting pressure when the valve is in the open state;

4. The diameter of the pressure test pipe is small, and the space is relatively compact. Generally, the valve actuator is relatively large, and the piping construction is complex, which is not convenient for on-site installation, maintenance, and use.

5. The piping is too long, increasing the volume that needs to be pressurized and reducing the pressurization speed.

Therefore, it is necessary to design a special exhaust device to meet the on-site usage requirements.
